The Erris Show was founded in 2010, with our first event held in 2011. A dedicated group of people from across the Erris region came together at the GAA Club in Belmullet in 2010 with a shared vision — to create a show that would celebrate the Barony and its rich traditions.

The Erris Show is more than just a single day; it is a cornerstone of community life here in Erris. It brings together people of all ages, from every corner of the region and beyond, to celebrate our shared rural heritage while embracing innovation and new ideas. Events like this are vital to sustaining both our agricultural traditions and local culture, while offering families and friends a cherished opportunity to connect in a festive, welcoming environment.
